ClassWeb
Some tools are best used while
seated, but we are now blurring the understanding of exactly where
those seats need to be located. Desktop computers, laptops, thin
clients, the Internet and email provide us with flexibility that
could only be imagined a few years ago.
The same bank of test question and exam plans that you maintain for
paper based exams are now available to drive paperless test administration.
For a single student on a dialup
connection, or a large class taking the same exam at your location,
Tactical Testing can present your tests via a standard Internet Explorer web
browser. This is a screen
shot of the exam in the
student's web browser:

At the completion of the exam
the student is walked through an onscreen review of the missed
questions. They can also be asked to take any surveys you wish to field.

Reports
The available reports exactly match those produced for ATS paper based
testing without the need to print keys or exams. More info here.
Surveys &
Validation
Our special survey creation tool will let utilize a
wide array of response types. These surveys can be administered to
a computer classroom web browser or to individual email addresses at
will, eliminating the need for custom and inflexible bubble
sheets and the temperamental scanning hardware.

Benefits
By conducting your testing
via an Internet browser you create the possibility of conducting
assessments both on and off site. It becomes easy to relocate a
class, to test individuals in remote locations, and to deal with the
unexpected. By eliminating bubble sheets your students will be less
likely to make mechanical errors and it will no longer be necessary to
print and store the blank answer sheets.
Feedback and scoring
can be instantaneous, and the system can link to additional reference
material.
